The process to scan in athletes’ QR codes at the finish of a race should be intuitive and quick to learn for your volunteers.
Once logged in and viewing a meet:
- Navigate to your event. Example: 100m
- Select the race or “Add Race”
- If there are no existing results and you are scanning them in fresh, select the “+ Add Athlete” button
- If you already set times or imported from an external app, there will be a list of times without any athlete information.
- Tap on any area in the first line to edit the information for the 1st place finisher

- Tap on the QR code icon in the top-left corner to scan in the athlete’s tag using the camera on your device.

- Tap the “Allow” button to grant access for the app to use your device’s camera.
- Scan the QR code with your camera.
- The information for the athlete should auto-fill in the form. The data should include Name, Team, Gender, and Level (Grade)
- Tap ‘Save’ to close the modal.
- Tap the next blank row in the results and repeat the process to scan the next athlete.
- OR, if you are scanning in results that do not have times already, you may select ‘Save And Add Another’.
- If you also check the box for ‘Auto Scan’, it will immediately launch the scanner when adding the next athlete.
